Oak Park Board Approves Mixed-Use Development Downtown
The building will be 12 stories tall with commercial space on the ground floor.

Oak Park- A new mixed-use development in downtown Oak Park has officially been cleared for construction on two parking lots owned by the village.
The Oak Park Village Board unanimously approved the South Boulevard & Harlem Avenue Development Project, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The building will be 12 stories tall with commercial space on the ground floor, a parking garage and rental apartments, the Tribune reported. A trustee recommended a traffic study be conducted to determine how this development and two others will affect the area.
