Park District of Oak Park to Host Fall Fest

The free fall festival will take place Sept. 27.

Fall Fest at the Oak Park Conservatory and Rehm Park will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept 27.

The fest at Rehm Park will include horse-drawn hayrides, inflatable entertainment, crafts and activities run by fest sponsors and food from our local vendors, according to the Park District of Oak Park.

The Rehm trains will operate during Fall Fest.

At the Conservatory, families can pick pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, while supplies last. Children can also decorate masks.

The activities are free, but attendees are advised to bring money for food.

New this year is the fall scavenger hunt. Families can explore and hunt for items outdoors, according to the park district. The scavenger hunt list can be picked up at the Conservatory, 615 Garfield St., or downloaded online. Completed collections may be brought to the Oak Park Conservatory Lobby during Fall Fest for rewards.

In the Conservatory:

  • Pumpkin patch
  • Mask decorating

In Rehm Park:

  • Rehm trains
  • Horse-drawn hayrides (arrive early! First come, first-served. Last ride leaves at 1:45.)
  • Inflatable games
  • Crafts and activities with sponsors
  • Food court (cash only)
