• Teen who tried to rob another in marketplace sale killed after shooting seller's relative: officials (abc7chicago.com) — A Cicero teen suspected of trying to rob another teen during a social media-arranged sale later died at Rush Oak Park Hospital after being shot by the victim’s armed relative, officials said. The relative, who was also wounded and hospitalized, told investigators he returned fire after being shot twice. Cicero police now urge residents to use the police department as a safe meetup spot for marketplace transactions.
