River Forest Officials Encourage Residents To Complete Census
Nearly 1 in 5 River Forest households have yet to complete the U.S Census, according to River Forest officials.
RIVER FOREST, IL—River Forest officials are urging residents to complete the 2020 U.S. Census.
"We know life is busy, but nearly 1 in 5 River Forest households are yet to complete the census," River Forest officials said via Facebook Thursday.
Your response to the census helps to direct billions of dollars in federal funds to local communities for schools, roads and other public services.

This month, census takers will begin visiting homes in River Forest that haven’t responded to the 2020 Census, village officials said.
Results from the 2020 census will be used to determine the number of seats each state has in Congress and your political representation at all levels of government. This is 3.7 percent less than the national self-response rate.
