2 Loaded Guns Found In Man's Speeding Car On Route 30: Oswego Police
The 20-year-old Chicago man was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon after the Oswego traffic stop.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police uncovered two loaded guns in the car of a Chicago man caught speeding Sunday on Route 30, officials said.
Officers pulled the 20-year-old Jonathan Trujillo over at about 11:40 p.m. on Route 30 near Douglas Road after catching him driving 60 mph in a 45-mph zone. Police located the two firearms during a search of his car, according to a news release.
Trujillo, of the 2600 block of South Drake Street in Chicago, was arrested and charged with two felony counts of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Police also issued him charges of possession of ammunition without a firearms owner identification card, possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle in an unapproved container, and speeding.

The Chicago man was booked at the Oswego Police Department before he was taken to the Kendall County jail, where he remains in custody as of Wednesday.
Trujillo's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 9.
