Burglaries, Juvenile Threats, More Oswego Crime: Sheriff's Office
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reports several crime incidents in the Oswego area.

OSWEGO, IL —
Dec. 20
Burglary
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the 6000 block of Grove Road in unincorporated Oswego around 2:45 p.m. Thursday, for a reported residential burglary. The sheriff's office said according to the complaint, several items of jewelry were missing at the home and the total value is unknown at this time. The case is still under investigation.

Theft
The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the 0-100 block of Springdale Road in reference to a theft at 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Officials said the theft was reported to have taken place at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The investigation into this case is ongoing.

Identity Theft
The sheriff's office said they responded to the 2000 block of Bell Road just before 3 p.m. Thursday for a report of an identity theft, totaling a loss of over $6,000. The sheriff's office said this took place when someone used the victim's information to take out a loan between August 2018 and Dec. 20, 2018. The investigation is ongoing.
Dec. 19
Criminal damage to property
The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the 0-100 block of Pueblo Road for a report of criminal damage to property at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The complainant told deputies the back window to his car had been broken out during Wednesday night. The incident is under investigation.
Dec. 18
Disorderly Conduct involving juvenile
The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the 800 block of W. John Street for a report of verbal threats made by a juvenile against a staff member. The sheriff's office said it was reported the juvenile left the area on foot and his whereabouts were unknown, but with help from his parents he was found a short time later several blocks away. Officials said no charges were filed and left the scene with is parents.
Dec. 17
Accident with injuries
The sheriff's office investigated a two-vehicle accident that took place just before 9 a.m. Monday at Route 34 and Cherry Drive, resulting in injuries. The sheriff's office said according to the investigation, Sharie M. Carmona, 31, of Aurora, was driving a vehicle that hit the one being driven by Vonzi R. Anderson, 57, also of Aurora. Authorities said Anderson was taken to a local hospital for her injuries. The sheriff's office said the other woman, Carmona, was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Violation of order of protection
The sheriff's office said it's investigating a violation of an order of protection in the 100 block of W. Rickard Street that took place at 2 p.m. Monday. The case is under investigation.

Dec. 16
Domestic battery
Sheriff's deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Circle Drive West in Oswego Township for a reported domestic battery just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Minor injuries were reported, the sheriff's office said, and the case is under investigation.
