Chicago Road Crash Leads To 1 Hospitalization: Oswego PD
A man from Aurora was hospitalized after the crash at the intersection of Chicago Road and Route 71.
OSWEGO, IL — One person was taken to a hospital Tuesday evening after a crash at the intersection of Chicago Road and Route 71, according to Oswego police.
A 53-year-old man from Aurora was driving a Ford eastbound on Chicago Road around 6:16 p.m. when he rear-ended a Chevrolet, driven by a man, 63, also from Aurora, officials said.
When the Ford driver entered the left turn lane at the light, he didn't see the Chevrolet stopped in front of him, according to spokesperson Cathy Nevara.

The 63-year-old was hospitalized after complaining of dizziness, Nevara said.
No citations were issued, and the Wednesday morning police blotter marks the case as closed.
