Christmas Walk, Drive-Thru Sponsorships 'Going Fast,' City Says
Local organizations can advertise at the annual events through sponsorship packages that are custom-made to fit the donor's marketing needs.
OSWEGO, IL — The annual Christmas Walk will come back in full force this year, and the Christmas Drive-Thru is returning as well — and local organizations can promote themselves through the event's sponsorships.
The traditional Christmas Walk on Main Street will be held on Friday, Dec. 3 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Christmas Drive-Thru will be on Friday, Dec. 10 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., held at the new performing arts and entertainment home Venue 1012 (located at 1012 Station Drive).
Both events are free of charge and open to the public, officials wrote on the event's website.

"The underlying goal of the events is to bring the Oswego community together, while spreading hope and good cheer to all, regardless of circumstances," officials wrote. "The downtown event also supports our local retailers and helps to kick off the retail shopping season."
Several options are available to local businesses, nonprofits and community organizations who want to advertise themselves at the events. However, the Village of Oswego said on its Facebook page that sponsorships are "going fast."

Allied First Bank will once again be the event's presenting sponsor, and sponsorships ranging from "Goodie Bag Partner" (an $800 donation) to "Happy Holidays in Oswego Partner" (a $3,000 donation) are currently up for grabs.
Sponsors will enjoy several perks, such as logo recognition and signage.
All sponsorship opportunities are first-come, first-served, and payment must arrive at Village Hall by Nov. 8 to guarantee a business' participation.
