Cops Checking on Unconscious Oswego Woman Outside New Lenox Kmart Found Heroin: Cops
The Oswego woman was taken to the Will County jail.

An Oswego woman who passed out in the parking lot of the New Lenox Kmart was caught with heroin, police said.
Shannon Novak, 31, was taken into custody on a charge of possession of a controlled substance about 5 p.m. Thursday.
An “officer was dispatched to the Kmart parking lot (in) reference (to) a subject passed out behind the wheel of a car,” police said. “Upon the officer’s arrival (Novak) was awake and refused medical treatment.”

The officer then reportedly found that Novak was holding small plastic bags of white powder.
