Meet District 308 Candidates At Oswego Forum
Hear from the candidates seeking spots on the District 308 board.
OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Education Association union will host a March 20 candidates forum for those running for three open spots on the school board in the April 2 election. The forum is set for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 20 at Oswego East High School, 1525 Harvey Road.
The event is open to the community, according to Oswego Education Association legislative chair David Mattes.
"At the forum, each candidate will have an opportunity to make a prepared statement and will receive a list of prepared questions beforehand to be ready to speak on," Mattes told Patch. "The forum will then allow for opportunities for the public to submit questions for the candidates and a number of publicly submitted questions will be asked. The evening will conclude with each candidate making a 1 minute closing statement."
