Letters to the editorAs regular readers know, we've already posted several letters to the editor in support of specific candidates. This is a perfect way for you to let your voice be heard. We don't really have a word limit but keep in mind, the shorter your letter the more likely it is that people will read it all the way through.
We've been reserving the weekend for letters to the editor, but we've got too many now to not post them Monday to Friday, as well. Letters on the same topic or in support of the same candidate will be grouped together four at a time.
Candidates, you are invited write your own letters to the editor. We would ask, however, to limit your letters to one per week.
We'd also ask candidates to get involved in the debates on our site. Many candidates and other elected officials are already posting comments to help set the record straight as they see it. We would encourage everyone to do the same, and keep in mind Character Counts! is watching.
