Five Things You Need to Know About Election Day

It's been called one of the dirtiest campaigns in Oswego in recent memory, and tomorrow it comes to an end.

1. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

2. You should bring a government-issued photo ID with you in case the election judge requests it.

3. You'll want to know your precinct so you know where to go to vote. The Evoter Illinois website will tell you where to go if you type in your address. There also are precinct maps and other voting information on the Kendall County Clerk's website.

4. We'll have updates throughout the day in our Election Day blog, plus results as they become available from Kendall, Kane and Will counties after polls close. We'll also be working into the night to reach winners and losers from each race to get their reactions.

5. We'll follow up on Wednesday with stories on what the results mean for our village, school, park and library districts, as well our seniors as it relates to the Oswego Township referendum.
