Letter to the Editor: Amanda Mancke Will Listen to All Voices

I will be voting for Amanda Mancke on April 5th.

I have known Amanda for a couple years now and have sat on many sidelines of games with her. I have learned that she is not only a great mother, but would also like to see some improvements in this community, as many of us would.

I have lived here for almost 9 years and through the years have heard much talk of seeing our downtown developed. I would love to see some more family friendly restaurants come to our downtown area. I would rather not leave Oswego for dinner, but I find that my husband and I will take the kids to other towns for dinner, parks, and to walk around, because there is so much more to do there.

I would love to see our downtown offer more for families. Our community also needs to attract more diverse business opportunities. Retail and restaurants are needed, but we need larger-scale projects to generate more money and jobs within our community. Most importantly, Amanda will listen to the voices of all residents and serve our community well.
