Gail Johnson is a leader and a listener
At (a recent) candidate forum, Gail Johnson was the only candidate who indicated Oswego needed a vision. I thought that our village certainly must have a vision statement, so I checked out the webpage…unless it was hidden, there wasn’t one posted.
It is obvious that Gail has the knowledge and experience to develop that vision fine tuned by her years of being a small business owner right here in Oswego. Gail is the type of person that you will see active in the community and talking directly to the business owners as well as the citizens of this community. She said (that) night she is a leader and I know she is a listener.
I have known Gail for years and I guarantee you that she is running for village trustee to help Oswego and not for any other personal reason. The word probity means adherence to the highest principles and ideals: uprightness. And I can assure you Gail currently illustrates her probity in all that she gets involved in and will continue to do so as an elected village trustee.
As Gail indicated on her website, "We have the opportunity to make a plan and move forward controlling our destiny; or we can wait, do nothing and have decisions made for us. I want to be part of it” I know I want Gail to be part of those making the decision for Oswego! Vote Gail Johnson on April 5.

Johnson's involvement in community service has been impressive
Being residents for 15 years in Oswego, we have seen many changes and have voted in many elections. This year’s election on April 5th is of particular importance to us. Oswego is in need of positive change. The candidate that we support for Oswego Village Trustee is Gail Johnson.
Gail’s vision of creating a better Oswego by encouraging dialog, cooperation and creating jobs for our community is just what our village needs. Gail is the right person for the position. We know this because we have known Gail for many years. She has been an active, integral part of the Village of Oswego. Her involvement in community service is not only impressive, but also is indicative of her hardworking, compassionate and energetic character.
Because Gail is a person of integrity and commitment, we have great confidence that if elected as Oswego Village Trustee, she will work to ensure that Oswego will be a great place to live, work and raise a family.
Cindy and Bill Keller, Oswego
