Man, 25, Wanted On Child Pornography Charges Caught In Oswego: Sheriff

The Montgomery man was wanted on a warrant for one count of child pornography and five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

OSWEGO, IL — A Montgomery man wanted on a child pornography charge and other felonies was apprehended in Oswego, officials at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said Monday.

Members of the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Gerardo Zamores, 25, and took him into custody without incident, according to a news release.

Zamores, of the 100 block of Tealwood Road, was wanted on a warrant issued out of Kendall County for one count of child pornography and five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He was taken to the county jail for processing and was subsequently released on pre-trial conditions.

In light of the man's apprehension, officials urged the community to report fugitives' whereabouts to Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers can remain anonymous and could receive a reward if their information leads to the arrest of a fugitive.
