No One Injured in Fire Call to The Tillers Tuesday Morning
Residents evacuated from kitchen area after burning smell detected.

Residents of home on Route 71 were evacuated from the kitchen area of the complex Tuesday morning at about 9:20 a.m. as fire crews from the Oswego Fire Protection District worked to determine if there was a fire at the facility.
Fire Lt. Alec Keenum said no one was injured and no fire was found after an employee reported a burning odor coming from the kitchen. Upon investigation, Keenum said there was no fire in the kitchen, but there was a burning smell determined to be electrical in nature.
Keenum said the power was shut off to the area and an electrician was on site to determine the problem before fire crews left the building at about 10 a.m.
