Oswego Hosts Garage Sale As Yard Sale This Year Amid Pandemic

OSWEGO, IL — Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Oswego Community Garage Sale will be a yard sale this year, the village announced in a release Thursday. The Oswego Community Yard Sale will be held 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

More than 70 vendors will have sales in neighborhoods throughout Oswego. Participating front yards are:

The Oswego Community Garage Sale was usually sponsored by Environmentally Conscious Oswego, the Village’s ECO Commission. This year, the village moved the annual sale to the front yard for extra air flow, and sellers are asked to wear masks, supply hand sanitizer for shoppers and provide visual reminders about physical distance. Shoppers also need to wear masks and gloves while handling items.
