Woman Parks Running Car in the Road, Charged with DUI: Sheriff

Monday, May 20
DUI
Dominique Nicole Martin, 22, of the 800 block of Preston Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 3:09 a.m. at Stewart and Wooley Roads and charged with driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies found Martin in her vehicle, which was parked and running in the roadway and found she was driving under the influence of alcohol, the sheriff's office said. She was also cited for improper parking in the roadway, not having a driver’s license on her person and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Allison M. Sautter, 20, of the 0-99 block of Saugatuck, Montgomery, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. at her residence and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.
Theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred at 5:48 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, Oswego. $100 of currency was taken from a residence.
No valid driver's license
Carl Nelson Corlew, 27, of the 900 block of Catherine Street, Joliet, was arrested at 4:43 a.m. at Van Emmon and Route 71 and driving without a valid license after deputies responded to a traffic accident in which a dog was injured, said the Sheriff's office.
Saturday, May 18
Domestic battery
Marcus Hale, 20, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson, Naperville, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. at Longbeach and Surrey Roads and charged with domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office. A deputy went to an address of a domestic battery call and learned Hale had run off prior to the deputy’s arrival. About half an hour later, the deputy recognized Hale near the intersection of Circle Drive East and Cayman and Hale fled. After a brief foot pursuit, the deputy took Hale into custody at Judith Circle and Old Post.
Theft
- Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred at an unknown time on May 17 in the 1400 block of Route 31, Oswego. Several items valued at $1,150 were taken from a residence.
- Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred at 4 a.m. in the 100 block of Kristine Street. An iPhone was reported stolen during a party.
Criminal damage to property
- Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported criminal damage to property that occurred between May 17 and May 18 in the 0-99 block of Scarsdale Road, Oswego. Three vehicles in front of the residence had paint scratched off on the passenger side.
- Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported criminal damage to property that occurred between May 1 and May 18 in the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road, Oswego. Between May 1 and May 18 the taillight of a vehicle had been broken and a house vandalized with spray paint. Between May 17 and May 18 another vehicle at the residence was vandalized with eggs, although no damage was reported in that incident.
Friday, May 17
Criminal damage to property, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, disorderly conduct
Jason William Merritt, 26, of the 400 block of Spruce Street, Aurora, was arrested in the 1100 block of Light Road, Oswego and charged with criminal damage to property, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence and disorderly conduct, said the Sheriff’s office.
Thursday, May 16
Driving with revoked license
Ramiro Rodriguez, 21, of the 2300 block of County Ridge Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 7:14 a.m. at 126 and Block Road, Yorkville and charged for driving with a revoked license after deputies responded to a single vehicle accident after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, said the Sheriff’s office. Rodriguez was transported to Rush Copley for his injuries.
Domestic battery
Darrel A. Thomas, 43, of the 7000 block of Galenea Road, Bristol, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of Galena Road and charged with domestic battery after an investigation revealed that Thomas struck a family member, said the Sheriff’s office.
Wednesday, May 15
Burglary to motor vehicle
- Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported attempted burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Curtmar Court, Montgomery. An offender, described as shirtless, thin, tall white male, attempted to break into vehicles parked in a driveway. The victim’s neighbor scared off the suspect. The victim reported nothing had been taken, but entry had been gained to one of the vehicles.
- Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between 10:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Creve Court, Oswego. Prescription medications and miscellaneous tools were taken from the vehicle.
Disorderly conduct
Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred at 6:57 p.m. in the 100 block of Harbor Drive. The suspect was harassing a neighbor who was a witness in another case that the sheriff’s office is investigating.
In state warrant
Concepcion Jose Reyes, 36, of the 1400 block of Route 31, Oswego, was arrested at 4:46 p.m. at his residence and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for failure to appear, said the Sheriff’s office.
Tuesday, May 14
Warrant
Alaya A. Tunk, 20, of the 400 block of Raintree Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 10:18 a.m. at her residence and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.
Harassment by electronic means
Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported harassment by electronic means that occurred 5:15 p.m. The victim recalled receiving threatening phone calls and another victim reported receiving unwanted text messages.
Monday, May 13
Criminal damage to state supported property
Phillip Patrick Pavone, 44, of the 200 block of Regency, Bloomingdale was charged at 8 p.m. at the Kendall County Jail where he was currently incarcerated with criminal damage to state supported property after damaging several items in his cell, including a television and a telephone amongst other items, all valued at approximately $840.
Driving without valid license
Javier Rojas, 27, of the 300 block of Hughs Street, Lockport, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. at Route 30 and Wolf Road and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
Warrant
Luis L. Valle, 20, of the 100 block of Hillstone Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:17 a.m. at his residence and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for possession of drug paraphernalia, said the Sheriff’s office.
Driving with revoked license
Kevin Robert Bryant, 34, of the 1400 block of Light Road, Oswego, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. Light and Augusta Roads and charged for driving with a revoked license after he was stopped for driving on expired registration, said the Sheriff’s office.
Sunday, May 12
Domestic battery, assault
Randall Anthony Massiah, 1100 block of Pleasant Court, Batavia, was arrested at 5:04 p.m. in the 7500 block of Galena Road, Bristol, and charged with domestic battery and assault after it was revealed he spat and attempted to strike the victim several times with his fist, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office
Domestic battery
Lamont T. Wilson, 22, of the 0-99 block of Lombardy Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 9:21 p.m. in the 800 block of Route 25 and charged with domestic battery after deputies found that Wilson stuck the victim in the face with an open hand, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
