Reuse and Recycling Extravaganza Planned for Saturday
See what items you can drop off at the event - free of charge!

Have you been getting an early start on fall cleaning? If you've come across a lot of items that you need to get rid of, you'll want to take advantage of the Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday.
The Village of Oswego and the Environmentally Conscious Oswego (ECO) Commission will hold its fall Reuse and Recycling Extravaganza on Saturday, September 14 from 8:00am to 2:00pm at the Public Works Facility, 100 Theodore Drive.
ECO will be accepting many items including bubble wrap, packing peanuts, padded envelopes, air pillows, used motor oil, paint, scrap metal, books, cardboard, old lawn mowers, batteries and electronics.

All drop offs will be free of charge except for paint, which will require a small fee.You can view a full list of the accepted items here. The items ECO collects are passed on to people who put them to good use, or recycle them
