Santa Claus Is Coming To Oswego: Where To See Him

OSWEGO, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Oswego families. For many, there's nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In and around Oswego, kids have several chances to see Kris Kringle in person:

• Oswego Holiday Express by Oswegoland Park District. Three events are planned, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 13, from 2-7:30 p.m. Dec. 14, and from 2-7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at South Point, 810 Preston Lane.
• Visit with Santa at Whitetail Ridge Golf Dome from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Reservations required.
• Oswego Christmas Walk, 4:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 6
• Christmas at the Farm from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 at Kendall County Historical Society's Lyon Farm in Yorkville.
• Montgomery's tree lighting on Dec. 8. Santa will arrive at 5 p.m. and will stay until 7 p.m. for pictures and visits.
• Visit with Santa at Oak and Bean event from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 15

Santa is also holding court at several shopping malls in the local area, including:

• Louis Joliet Mall until Dec. 24
• Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora until Dec. 22
• Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in The Promenade in Bolingbrook through Dec. 24
