Several Domestic Battery Cases Over Holiday Weekend: Oswego PD
Oswego police, Kendall County Sheriff's Office report 2018 holiday crime incidents in the Oswego area.

Dec. 23
Order of protection violation
Oswego police said they're investigating a violation of an order of protection reported at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 in the 100 block of Monroe Street. Police said the victim was contacted by the offender through social media around 1 a.m. Dec. 23.

Dec. 22
Domestic battery
Oswego police said 46-year-old Robert Burgert, of Montgomery, has been charged with domestic battery following an incident that took place at 9:18 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at Douglas and Wolf Road. Police said they responded to the domestic battery report, and then arrested Burgert just before 11 p.m. Burgert's bond and court date were pending after his arrest.

Domestic battery
Oswego police said 24-year-old Mark Nathan Cozlar, of the 0-99 block of Sedgwick, was charged with domestic battery following an incident involving an injured 56-year-old Oswego male,that took place at the same location around 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Police said Cozlar was arrested at 8:10 p.m. and is being held at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
Burglary
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a burglary report in the 0-99 block of Springdale Road just before 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. The sheriff's office said the incident is under investigation.
Domestic battery
The KCSO said Joshua C. Newcomer, 41, of the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive, Oswego, was charged with domestic battery, insulting/provoking around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22.
Dec. 21
Domestic battery
Oswego police said 46-year-old Tracey L. Blameuser, of the 700 block of Versailles Parkway, has been charged with domestic battery, criminal damage to property following an incident involving a 56-year-old Oswego male at the same location just after 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. Police said Blameuser was arrested at 10:10 p.m. and is being held at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
