Man, 29, Poses As Teen To Have Sexual Relations With Girl: Oswego PD
Oswego police allege the man, now charged with felonies, had sexual conduct with the girl in September and December 2022.

OSWEGO, IL — A Wheeling man, 29, posed as a teenager to meet and have sexual relations with a young girl, Oswego police say they learned in an investigation.
Officials announced Tuesday evening they concluded a 15-month investigation in May that resulted in the arrest of Roberto B. Huerta, who was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Huerta without incident on June 7 at his residence in the 600 block of Prestwick Lane in Wheeling. He was taken to the Cook County jail to await a pre-trial hearing.

Oswego police allege the man had sexual conduct with a girl older than 13 but younger than 17 in September and December 2022. Officials said Huerta posed as a 19-year-old man to meet the girl on a popular mobile app.
Detectives began investigating in February 2023 after receiving a report of the incident. The Kendall County State's Attorney's Office approved the two felony charges against the man on May 30 and issued a warrant for his arrest.
