Business Basics for Entrepreneurs
This eight-class series is designed to educate entrepreneurs in all facets of small business ownership. Students learn the fundamentals to successfully start, manage or expand a business. Topics include:
- Basics to Starting a Business
- Accounting and Bookkeeping Basics
- Small Business Marketing
- Financial Management
- Small Business Legal Issues
- Writing a Business Plan
- Obtaining Small Business Financing
- Cash Flow is King
This 6-week class is scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 17th from 6:30 – 8:30pm at the Palos Hills main campus. The cost is $295.

Social Media for Small Business
Learn social media platforms, best practices for businesses, and how to engage with fans. There is also an opportunity to ask questions and have a discussion specific to your business.
This class is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd from 6 – 8pm at the Southwest Education Center in Tinley Park. The cost is $36. This class is also scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th from 6 – 8pm at the Palos Hills main campus. The cost is $36.

QuickBooks Payroll
This course is dedicated to understanding the payroll feature of QuickBooks.
This 3-week class is scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 22nd from 6:30 – 8:45pm at the Palos Hills main campus. The cost is $135.
