Hills Chamber Welcomes Local Businesses, Vendors, Crafters To Expo

PALOS HILLS-HICKORY HILLS, IL — Local businesses, crafters, vendors and social service organizations will take center stage this Saturday, March 25, at the Hills Chamber of Commerce 2023 Business and Community Expo. The Expo runs from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. at Conrady Junior High School, 7950 S. Roberts Road, Hickory Hills, 7950 S. Roberts Road, Hickory Hills. Admission is FREE, but residents are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for Elsie's Pantry Easter Food Drive.

This is one of the Hills Chamber’s most highly anticipated yearly events, attracting local businesses, direct sale vendors and crafters from around the area. New to the expo this year are several farmers market vendors.

In addition to getting acquainted with some great local businesses, attendees can peruse wreaths, jewelry, honey, sweets, woodworking, vegan soap and bath products, as well as personalized kids’ Easter baskets, plush toys and plush purses from local crafters and vendors. Other highlights include:

• Illinois Secretary of State Mobile Unit for driver’s license and state ID renewals and replacements (sorry, no REAL ID).
• Pathlights COVID-19 vaccine clinic
• Illinois State Treasurer’s Office for unclaimed property (last summer at the Hills Farmers Market visitors collected $30,000 of unclaimed property from insurance proceeds, inheritance, bank accounts, uncashed payroll checks and more from the treasurer’s office)
• Raffles of exhibitors products and services
• Windy City ThunderBolts Boomer (tentative)
• And much, much more

All ages are welcome. Swag bags will be given out to the first 200 visitors.
