2nd Panda Express Opens In Plainfield
The new location gives Plainfield residents another place to snag the restaurant's beloved orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp dishes.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Panda Express is opening its second location in Plainfield, this time at The Boulevard Place.
The new diner, joining Cooper's Hawk and Costco at the happening shopping center, features a drive-thru and the new "Panda Home" design, with nods to traditional Chinese architecture, including red lanterns, a moon gate portal and Chinatown signs, according to a news release.
"Our entire Panda team is grateful to serve the Plainfield community by providing nearly 40 new jobs and supporting local organizations through various fundraising opportunities," Xochitl Herrera, Panda Express area coach of operations, said in a statement. "We hope to be a lasting part of the community and welcome all guests into our doors to try our American Chinese favorites and discover their own."
