Back To School: Plainfield 2025-26 School Calendar

PLAINFIELD, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Plainfield, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202.

The first day of school for most students in Plainfield is Aug. 14.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day: Aug. 14

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-28

Winter Break: Dec. 22 to Jan. 6

Spring Break: March 30 to April 6

Last Day: May 22, if no emergency days are used, or June 1, if all emergency days are used
