District 202 To Host Back-To-School Fair: 'Plainfield Is So Rich With Resources For Families'

The fair, open to parents of children ages 3 to 22, will feature guest speakers, vendors and food trucks.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 will host a back-to-school fair Aug. 2 for parents of children between the ages of 3 and 22.

The event is planned from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive.

The fair will feature more than guest speakers, food trucks and more than 60 family resource vendors specializing in tutoring, grief, recreation, disability services and more.

"Plainfield is so rich with resources for families that this is a great opportunity to highlight what those resources are and how families can access them," said Tim Albores, director of student services for high school and alternative programs at District 202.
