Jack In The Box Sign Is Up In Plainfield: Here's What We Know About Its Opening, Menu
Locals are eagerly awaiting the return of Jack in the Box in Illinois, and the Plainfield location is on the cusp of opening.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The sign for the new Jack in the Box in the Plainfield area is up, bringing the eatery one step closer to opening.
The fast-food restaurant is slated to open at 2101 Route 59 in July, the company said on its website. It's been pushed back a month after the company originally advertised a June opening date.
The Plainfield area Jack in the Box is one of as many as 10 new Illinois locations and will feature the chain's well-known "24/7 craveable menu," Patch reported. It will also feature a drive-thru lane.

Breakfast will be served all day, and a sign mounted on the building alerts visitors that the restaurant will be "open late night."

The opening is drawing significant excitement from residents on social media.

"When I lived in California, my kids, and I went there all the time," one person said. "They used to have the old jack in the box for [their] sign… they took the jack out of the box. They should’ve kept it. It was very nostalgic, the burgers and tacos were the best. Can't wait to go back."
"Omg so exciting that [they'll] bring them back to Illinois," another person said.
"I had it years ago!!" someone else commented. "Love it can’t wait for this place to open!!!!!"
