Little Red Donut Truck Will Visit Plainfield This Weekend
The truck specializing in apple cider doughnuts travels around the Chicagoland area, bringing goodness "from the orchards to the streets."

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Little Red Donut Truck, known for its mini apple cider doughnuts, will bring its delicacies to Plainfield Sunday.
The food truck, which delivers sweet treats "from the orchards to the streets," will be visiting Plainfield's Creekside Crossing subdivision from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. The truck will be parked near 15617 Portage Lane, according to the company's Facebook page.
At the Little Red Donut Truck, the staff uses an in-truck doughnut machine to make the dessert right in front of customers. The doughnuts come out "the hottest and freshest around."

Owners used to have an apple orchard and went mobile after their apple cider-flavored mini doughnuts became "wildly popular," Patch previously reported.
Prices vary by the dozen. According to the truck's Facebook page, a dozen doughnuts cost $8, two dozen cost $15 and three dozen cost $20.
