Plainfield Man’s Car Found, But Search For Him Continues: Sheriff
The sheriff's office emphasized that although the car has been found, the search for the 22-year-old continues.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office revealed new details as they search for the missing 22-year-old Erik Wojdyla, who has not been seen since the end of July.
In an update Friday, spokesperson Kevin Hedemark told Patch that Wojdyla's 2008 Honda hatchback was located in South Elgin.
"However, we want to emphasize that Erik is still missing and the efforts to locate him continue," he said.

Officials took to Facebook Thursday afternoon to report that the 22-year-old Plainfield resident was missing. He was last seen on July 26, and his last known contact was a phone conversation with his father on July 27.
On July 28, Flock cameras detected Wojdyla's driving on Route 31 in West Dundee, according to the alert.

Wojdyla resides in the 14000 block of Denton Court. The sheriff's office described the man as 5-foot-11 and about 180 pounds.
Deputies are urging anyone with information about Wojdyla's whereabouts to contact Detective McDonald at 815-727-8575 ext. 4934.
