Plainfield Cruise Nights Is Starting: Check Out The Event Schedule

PLAINFIELD, IL — Summer is back, and that means the start of Cruise Nights in downtown Plainfield.

The first event of the season is June 3, and the final Cruise Night will be Aug. 19. Cars of all varieties will be lined up weekly from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Des Plaines Street. No Cruise Night will be held on July 1.

Here is a look at the schedule for this summer. Although nights are themed, that doesn't prohibit car enthusiasts from showing off a vehicle outside of the category.

• June 3: Season opener (Tractor Night)
• June 10: GMC Truck Night
• June 17: Chevy Truck Night (Tractor Night)
• June 24: Jeep Night
• July 1: No Cruise Night
• July 8: Import Night
• July 15: Bronco Night (Tractor Night)
• July 22: Ford Truck Night (School of Rock)
• July 29: Corvette Night
• Aug. 5: Mustang Night (National Night Out, Tractor Night)
• Aug. 12: Hawaiian Shirt Night (School of Rock)
• Aug. 19: Final Cruise Night (Tractor Night)
