The company announced earlier this year that it’s considering closing up to 70 Red Robins over the next five years, with plans for 15 to shutter in 2025. The company plans to close underperforming restaurants by letting their leases expire without renewal, Men’s Journal reported.

The closures come after Red Robin reported a net loss of $77.5 million for 2024, compared to the previous year's $21.2 million, despite an increase in sales in the final quarter of 2024, according to a report from Finance Buzz.
