Steve Buresh To Open Cookie-Centric Bakery In Plainfield
Steve Buresh's Cookie Store will also function as a large production kitchen to centralize baking for all stores, the owner said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Steve Buresh is expanding his baking empire in Plainfield.
The pastry chef, known for his cheesecake delicacies sold at 14210 South Route 30, is opening a store dedicated entirely to cookies.
"Don't worry," the owner wrote in an announcement Monday on Facebook, "the Cheesecake Store isn't going anywhere. I just need more room to bake and experiment with new flavors and ideas!"

Steve Buresh's Cookie Store will live "right in front of" Steve Buresh's Cheesecake Store & Sandwich Shop at the intersection of Route 30 and 143rd Street. A sign advertising Marco's Pizza and Family Video now also sports a banner alerting passersby of the new store coming soon.
Beyond cookies with "out of this world flavor," the new store will also function as a large production kitchen for Buresh's crew in an effort to centralize baking for his businesses and provide more fundraising opportunities.
