Werk Force Brewing Unveils 'Putin Is A Douche' Imperial Stout
"Putin has indeed continued to be a douche by invading Ukraine again and terrorizing and killing Ukrainians," brewery owners said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The consensus on Russian President Vladimir Putin is clear at Plainfield's own Werk Force Brewing: He's "a douche," to put it mildly. On that note, the business is re-releasing a cheekily named brew called "Putin Is A Douche" on Saturday.
What's the brewery owners' thinking behind the drink? People "around the world ... viewed Vladimir Putin as quite the douche" for invading Crimea in 2014 and annexing it to Russia. So in 2016, owners Brandon and Amanda Wright released "Putin Is A Douche" for the first time.
"Many years have passed and as we all well know, Putin has indeed continued to be a douche by invading Ukraine again and terrorizing and killing Ukrainians by vicious attacks to their homes," owners said in a post on Facebook on Thursday.

The drink is a barrel-aged American imperial stout with an alcohol by volume of 11.6 percent. Its tasting notes are dark chocolate, rich vanilla and unity, according to Werk Force's owners.
For those who want to try "Putin Is A Douche," it'll be released from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Werk Force's Barrel Den, located toward the center of the main parking lot at the brewery, 14903 S. Center St. Bottles will be limited to four per person.

Along with the release, a portion of all bottle sales will be donated to two Ukraine relief funds: American nonprofit Sunflower of Peace and Ukrainian Direct Relief. A 375 mL bottle costs $15, and $4 will go to aid Ukrainians.
