• Former addicts find hope through Salvation Army Peer Support Program (wgem.com) — Quincy residents struggling with addiction or homelessness now have a powerful new lifeline through The Salvation Army’s Peer Support Program, led by peer specialist Josh Stevens. The program connects people to treatment, housing, and ongoing support, drawing on the lived experiences of former addicts who’ve rebuilt their lives. Local contacts, including the Quincy Area Command and crisis hotlines, are highlighted for anyone needing help.
   

• Drury Lady Panthers run win streak to 3 games with win over Quincy (news-leader.com) — A women’s college basketball matchup at Quincy’s Pepsi Arena saw the Drury Lady Panthers top the Quincy Hawks 74–67, despite a late push from the home team. Quincy native and Drury freshman Sage Stratton hit a key fourth-quarter three, while standout Rhi Gibbons led Drury with a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double.
