The Veterans Energy Team was able to use incentives with ComEd and grant funding to have the cost of chargers and installation be "basically no charge," Drey said.

"What we are looking to do is authorize $118,000 for five years of maintenance on the devices," Drey said. According to Board documents, $103,800 is for the cost of maintenance for five years for the DC chargers, and $15,000 is for the cost of the maintenance of the level 2 chargers for fiscal year 2026.
