Fourth Annual Bling Sale, Fundraiser Planned At Romeoville Library

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The White Oak Library Foundation's annual 3-day bling sale will return this year from Sept. 19 to Sept. 21 at the Romeoville branch, 201 W. Normantown Road.
Hours for the sale are 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 20, and 12 to 2 p.m. on Sept. 21. The Friday sale is the preview sale for $5 admission, while both the Saturday and Sunday sales are free admission.
The fundraiser of recycled jewelry and bling benefits the library, according to a release.

Thousands of pieces of costume jewelry including earrings, necklaces, wristwatches, rings, vintage jewelry, bracelets and jewelry-making supplies will be at the event, according to the library. There will also be a limited selection of gently-used evening bags, designer bags and jewelry boxes.
Most pieces of costume jewelry can be had for a donation of $1 or $2. Gold, sterling silver and gemstones will be priced attractively, the library said.Cash, credit, debit and ApplyPay will be accepted.
