Fresh Produce Pop-Up Planned In Romeoville
The event will offer free fresh produce, as well as information about local food resources.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Will County residents are invited to a fresh produce pop-up in Romeoville on Aug. 26, hosted by Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel and State Representative Natalie Manley, according to a release from the County.
The event will offer free fresh produce, as well as information about local food resources, from 3 to 5 p.m. at High Point, 174 S. Highpoint Drive, in Romeoville. A similar event is planned Aug. 19 in Joliet.
"Both events are part of a shared commitment between the partners to connect local households with food access and healthy options during a period of rising prices," a news release states.

Fresh produce will be distributed on a first come, first served basis or while supplies last. Registration is not required.
