GEODIS To Hire 295 Seasonal Workers In The Chicago Area For Peak Season

ROMEOVILLE, IL — GEODIS, a global logistics provider with locations in both Bolingbrook and Romeoville, has announced plans to hire approximately 295 seasonal workers in the Chicago area to support the anticipated surge in demand during peak season, according to a news release.
This hiring initiative will significantly enhance the company’s operational capacities in its warehouses and distribution centers in preparation for the holiday season, with seasonal employees joining its nearly 20,000 teammates in North America. In total, GEODIS plans to hire 4,600 seasonal workers this peak season, the business said.
GEODIS is recruiting for a variety of seasonal positions, including material handlers and equipment operators, across 11 of its campuses in the U.S. and Canada, including Chicago. The business said it provides a benefits package including competitive wages, peak premium pay incentives, and peak and referral bonuses. For financial flexibility, GEODIS offers an on-demand payment program that allows teammates to receive up to 50 percent of their paycheck before payday.

The company also allows for a range of flexible schedules with weekend opportunities and multiple daily shift options to accommodate diverse lifestyles. Both part-time (under 30 hours a week) and full-time (over 30 hours a week) seasonal positions are available.
