Man Accused Of Kidnapping, Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old Girl
Police found the girl at a Romeoville motel. They say she met the man on social media.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — DeQ'haun Hinton, a 20-year-old Lockport man, has been charged with aggravated sex abuse and three counts of sexual assault after police say he kidnapped a 12-year-old girl, brought her to a Romeoville motel and sexually assaulted her.
The girl had been reported missing from Chicago last month. Romeoville police say they responded to a call around 6 a.m. on November 12 and found her in Hinton's motel room. Police say she met the man on social media.

Hinton was booked into the Will County Detention Facility on December 5. He is held on a $250,000 bond. As in every case, charges are merely accusations, not proof of guilt.
