Families can celebrate the new year with a taste of French tradition at Bonne Année: A New Year Celebration! from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at Isle a la Cache Museum.

The free, family-friendly Forest Preserve District of Will County program invites guests ages 6 and older to celebrate the Illinois Country’s French heritage with stories, games, dancing and fiddle music around a warm fire.

Participants also will enjoy a warm drink and traditional king’s cake and create a vintage-style craft to take home as a keepsake for a Bonne Année, or good year, to come.
