RomeoFest Returns Aug. 7-10: What To Know

ROMEOVILLE, IL — RomeoFest, a 4-day celebration held every year in August, will once again feature a variety of activities, live entertainment, a carnival and more.

The festivities are held Aug. 7-10 at Deer Crossing Park and Village Park. The fest features a ton of activities, so here are some details on what you can expect:

Adult Bean Bag Tournament

• 6 p.m. on Aug. 8, team play
• 1 p.m. on Aug 10, blind draw
• You must be ages 18 and older to play; it is $50 per team for the team play and $10 per person for the blind draw. You can register the day of in the beverage garden.

Adult Co-Ed Kickball Tournament

• Aug. 7, tournament begins at 5 p.m.
• $180 per team, register by July 31. Tournament is for those 21+. This is a "cup in hand" tournament, and cups will be provided. One beer for each player will be donated by Hampton Park Social Athletic Club, but teams must supply their own additional beverages.

Bingo Tent

• 5 to 10 p.m., Aug. 7
• 5 to 9:30 p.m., Aug. 8
• 2 to 10 p.m., Aug. 9
• 12 to 7 p.m., Aug. 10
• Must be 18 or older to play Bingo.

Carnival

• 5 to 10 p.m., Aug. 7
• 5 to 11 p.m., Aug. 8
• noon to 11 p.m., Aug. 9
• noon to 7 p.m., Aug. 10
• Carnival entrance fees are in effect Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to close. It is $5 per person (11 and older); however it is free for kids 10 and under, families, all mega pass holders and seniors.
• A carnival mega pass is $65, which provides unlimited rides for all four days.

Car Show

• 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 10

Color Run

• Race begins at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 10
• It is $30 per participant. Packet pick-up is Aug. 1-8 at the Romeoville Aquatic Center.
