Romeoville HS Robotics Team Qualifies For State Playoffs

This is the first time the team has qualified for the State Championships.

The Romeoville HS Robotics team qualified for the playoff rounds at the FIRSTTech Challenge State Championship at Elgin Community College by placing as one of the top eight teams after the preliminary rounds. That allowed the RHS team to serve as “alliance captains’ for the playoffs giving them the opportunity to “draft” partners from other teams.

The team assembled by the RHS students advanced to the finals before being defeated by the top- seeded alliance.
