Romeoville Police Pull Out All The Stops For Aug. 5 National Night Out Event
You will be able to spot superheroes of all kinds at the annual event.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department has "upped its game" this year when it comes to the annual National Night Out event.
Sergeant Mike O'Connor shared that some of the stars of this year's event will be Deadpool and Wolverine, who will parachute into the event from a plane.
The annual National Night Out event, hosted by the police department, is set for Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 1050 Romeo Road.

Not only will Deadpool and Wolverine be there, but additional superheroes present for the event will be Captain America, Wonder Woman, Black Panther, Spider-Man, alongside police officers, firefighters, and military personnel, O'Connor said.

The Village also shared that a Black Hawk helicopter will be coming to the event.
National Night Out will also feature taser, drone and K-9 demonstrations; food trucks, giveaways, raffles, bounce houses, nerf field, emergency vehicle displays, the Jesse White Tumblers, exotic reptile show, a 360-photo booth, and more.
