Romeoville's Annual Harvest Food Drive This Saturday
On Saturday, Nov. 23, volunteers in Romeoville will go door-to-door collecting food donations for the 26th year in a row.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The 26th annual Harvest Saturday Food Drive is set to take place this Saturday, Nov. 23. The yearly event is sponsored by St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Church at High Point, United Presbyterian Church and The Rock Church. Romeoville residents wishing to participate should place their food donations in plastic bags outside their front doors by 11:10 a.m., but be advised: volunteers will not collect donations from Remington Apartments or HighPoint.
Door-to-door food pick-up runs from 11:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. People can also bring their donations to the drop-off site at St. Andrew the Apostle, located on the corner of Kingston Drive and Arlington Drive in Romeoville. Those who would prefer to give money rather than food can send their donations to:

For information regarding acceptable donation items, please visit the St. Andrew the Apostle website. For any further questions, the St. Andrew parish office is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 815-886-4165, ext. 301. Only on the day of the food drive, persons with questions can also call the food drive coordinators at 815-886-4165, ext 425.
