White Oak Library District Closed Until April 6
The library district, with locations in Romeoville, Crest Hill and Lockport, has announced that it will be closing its doors until April 6.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The White Oak Library District announced over the weekend that it would be closing its doors starting Monday, March 16 and until Monday, April 6 in response to the coronavirus crisis. All checked-out materials can still be returned at their respective library's exterior drop-off box, and any items that have been checked out already will not be due until April 6th. No fines will be assessed for these items.
All three library locations will still be open to serve as polling places on Tuesday, March 17.

Patch contacted the library district for further comment on the closure, but did not immediately receive a response.
