Woman Steals $100 From Walmart Check-Out Kiosk, Police Say
Romeoville Police are trying to identify a woman who allegedly stole $100 cash from self-check-out kiosk at Walmart.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who allegedly stole $100 in cash from a self-check-out kiosk at a Romeoville Walmart. The incident took place on Aug. 16 at the Walmart at 420 South Weber Road, according to Romeoville Police.
At around 3 p.m. that day, the woman was at the self-check-out register when she took $100 that was dispensed by the machine but left behind by the previous customer, police said. The suspect is described as a white woman in her 50's, last seen wearing jeans and a pink shirt. Surveillance footage at the Walmart captured the woman as she left the store. (PHOTOS BELOW)
Anyone with information about the woman or the incident in question is asked to call Romeoville Police at 815-886-7219. The case number is 19-2800.
