FBI After Old Man For Possessing Child Pornography: Indictment

The FBI is after an old man from Homer Glen who allegedly possessed three different images of child pornography.

Arnold Spurgash, 77, faces three counts of possessing child pornography.

Spurgash’s bond was set at $100,000. He remains at large.

FBI spokeswoman Joan M. Hyde refused to provide any information on the investigation of Spurgash.

All three of the digital images Spurgash was charged with possessing depicted a naked girl — apparently younger than 13 — engaged in sex acts with a grown man, according to a criminal indictment filed Monday in Will County court.

The images were stored on a thumb drive and one, “identified as 137.crybaby.jpg,” showed the “adult male placing his penis in the exposed vagina of the child,” the indictment said.
