Started In Joliet: Kafe De Kasa Opens Another Location, This Time On Jefferson Street

JOLIET, IL — Kafe De Kasa has turned into an enormous success, giving people more options and variety for high quality coffees and beverages since opening its first location in Joliet in 2020 at the corner of Ingalls Avenue and Plainfield Road, across from the ACE Drive-In. Although there are no longer any Kafe De Kasas in the city of Joliet anymore, the business continues to flourish and that means lucrative sales tax revenues for Joliet's nearby communities.

Now, in addition to the Kafe De Kasa on Plainfield Road, in Crest Hill, another Kafe De Kasa just opened for business on West Jefferson Street. But, it's not the Jefferson Street portion of Joliet, it's the Jefferson Street that runs through Shorewood.

On Wednesday, the village of Shorewood posted the following announcement on its Facebook page: "Congratulations to the Kafe De Kasa team on opening their Shorewood location at 707 West Jefferson Street, Unit 1, today. Known for its bold, home-style coffee with freshly ground imported beans and delicious grab and go desserts, Kafe De Kasa aims to give the community a space to hang out and enjoy their coffee or treat ... We are happy to have you in town, Kafe De Kasa. Welcome to Shorewood."

The Kafe De Kasa is located in the same strip mall as the Dairy Queen.
