16-Year-Old Shot In Skokie, Police Say

SKOKIE, IL — A 16-year-old was shot Saturday in Skokie, according to police.

Authorities responded around 9 p.m. to Keating Avenue and Davis Street, where they found the boy wounded and took him to a local hospital, police said, adding he was in stable condition as of Sunday morning.

The shooting does not appear to be random, according to police.
